Hydrowave Complaint - GE Hydrowave Model GHWN4250D1WW

We purchased a GE Hydrowave Washing Machine a year and a half ago. We do not do a lot of laundry so I was very suprised when at the end of the washing cycle while it was spinning there was a large pop sound and then the curcuit blew. After we reset the curcuit breaker, we realized that the washer would fill but the drum does not spin/move any more. The last GE washer we had for 15 years with no problems. After googling the model, I realize this model has numerous issues.
